Designing for a better future

It has come to my attention that design thinking will enable people to come up with solutions to our most pressing issues. The most exciting part of this discovery is the creativity that will be required to bring together people who will all be from different backgrounds, countries, and hold a range of political views. This means that we will grow to see new challenges and all these will be met with efficiency, innovation, and pragmatism.
People will be required to learn how to use the tools that will be critical to the design of new products and services. Furthermore, the collaborations that will result from these new approaches will mean that people will get to think more of the big picture for instance in climate change, overcrowding, pollution, and immigration.
What matters most now is actively making connections where there were no connections before. It is probably by gathering resources and knowledge from many disciplines that we will come up with the best solutions to our most pressing issues.
